Hundreds of Aussie Elvis fans have been taking part in a festival celebrating their idol. Special trains took them from Sydney's Central Station to the outback town of Parkes. Tribute artists serenaded and crooned passengers on the six-hour train trip to the festival, which is expected to attract in excess of 26,000 people, more than doubling the town's population for the duration of the four-day event. The 1957 hit song 'All Shook Up' will be the theme for this year's Elvis Festival, where street markets, lookalike contests and parades are planned. The Elvis Festival has been held around January 8 (Elvis' birthday) each year since 1993.
